SALES MANAGER

The role is all about hitting targets, making the most of your relationship building skills, to help you grow a pipeline of new prospects and to increase sales revenue.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong work ethic, be solution orientated, proactive and flexible, whilst maintaining a structured approach. You will also need to commit to mentoring, developing and coaching your team, as they will be key to your success. You will be expected to lead by example, ensuring your team sells with integrity and the role will require you to be hands on as you will have your own individual target to achieve and exceed the expected results.

 

Skills/Qualifications

·       University degree in Business.

·       Experience in sales and management.

·       Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Must be organised.

·       Ability to work under pressure.

·       Co-operative and good team player.

·       Highly numerate with a good understanding of commercial issues.

·       The ability to formulate and deliver solutions to complex commercial situations.

·       Strong presentation skills.

·       Strong negotiation skills.

·       Ability to recognise key issues, risks and opportunities.

·       Must be willing and able to travel, if need be.

·       Ability to motivate all areas of the business to meet requirements.

  

Responsibilities:

·       New business quotations, management of day-to-day issues, pricing strategy and ensuring customer satisfaction.

·       To manage the day-to-day commercial interface with the customer.

·       Manage the commercial introduction of new programmes.

·       Develop new business within the account in accordance with business plan objectives.

·       Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction through the meeting of customer requirements in a timely and professional manner.

·       Provide concise status reports on a monthly basis and propose a course of development or corrective actions where appropriate.

·       To proactively develop the Company’s presence within the customer and seek out new business development opportunities.

·       Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s quality and other management procedures Key Qualifications/Requirements.
